• Piss Revelations (06-30-2009) Off-World Edition

Yeah, had an Off-World piss revelation only moments ago and had to run over to the only net connection I’ve had here to tell you about it. It’s kinda like when I was first potty trained and I’d run over to my mom to have her come look at what I left in the toilet hoping for a high five or maybe just an Ice Pop.

Speaking of my mom, I was guessing she was about the only one that would care to look at the barrage of photos I’ve been posting all around the web this last week (even inadvertently double tweeting… tsk, tsk.) I guess some of you have been popping in too to make sure I’m not totally goofing off. Well, I’m here to assure you that I totally am. Well, not totally… I did write a new piece for “The Soundtrack for the Voices in My Head Vol 02″ that I’m almost ready to have orchestrated. (Now, I just need to find an orchestrator…) and had a brilliant piss revelation, or at least I thought so. It involves some breakbeats, deep dubstep bassline and The Cure. More specifically, a track from the best Cure album Robert ever layed his tormented vocals on: Disintegration. I won’t say more about the specifics until I pull it together, but there is an inkling (or maybe a ‘sprinkling’?) of my Off-World piss revelation.

I will be thrown back into the midst of “Wish Upon a Blackstar” chaos when I get home, so look and listen for updates. For now, I’ll go back to taking pics and upping them here.

(For those who have been asking, they are all 100% done on my iPhone. I shoot ‘em, tweak ‘em in the Photo FX iPhone app and upload them through the Pixelpipe iPhone app. Guess what the first thing I’m going to do when I get home will be? Hell yeah, iPhone 3GS.)

    Klayton… You + The Cure = Hardcore Awesome!

    Disintegration was one of my favorite albums from The Cure. I've been a fan of them for a long time. ("Lullaby" and "Fascination Street" are probably my two favorite tracks from the Disintegration album.)

    But now, I'm extremely curious to know which track you're going to shanghai for this little "project" of yours.

    klay i just wanna let you know that i do take the time the time to look at all the photos you post. just because i think you have a great eye for photography. plus i stop by then site almost everyday just because i am really anticipating any and all of your music.

    I have a 3G-S and the only issue I have with the battery is how much more awesome it then the 3G.

    And please please please lets focus on Chapter 1 and the rest of Wish Upon A Blackstar. As much as a Soundtrack for the Voices in my Head would be awesome or this cure thing… lets just do the real Sophmore album for now…. pretty please?
