FiXT Spotlight is Live

The FiXT Artist Spotlight Feature I’ve been rambling on about is finally live. Go here. I’ve included some answers to some of your questions and even threw together a rough collage of some early construction pics of my new studio.

The only question nobody asked me (and I’m kinda bummed) is how I learned to do all those awesome guitar solos in every single song I write. I just love shredding for 10 minutes per track to really show the world my skills. Since nobody asked, I’m just going to show you how I learned. (Nobody can ever accuse me of not knowing the Satch Boogie. dammit.) Enjoy -

Major question to ask.

I noticed the lyrics you referred to from Birthright aren’t the ones in the demo you released.

Is this because they’ve changed in the final version, or just an oversight?

Klayton I want to ask you a few things if you read this. first off I have to get the fanboyism out by saying I love your music . ok now that thats out of the way I wanted too ask what you think of Transhumanism and the sci-fi sub genre of Cyberpunk. I’m askin because whenever i listen to your music it reminds me of them.

Are you familiar with the band Acid Mothers Temple? They’re this Japanese acid rock band that just jams out nonstop; most of their albums are just single, hour-long tracks of them going at it. If you were to release an album of you shredding, I’d be okay with that.

Augh! I was -SO- close to asking you about your guitars but I’ve been trained not to question talented people so much about their craft, they usually never reveal all their skills and tricks anyway. Ah, but I see where you get your wisdom…:)

as always Klayton, an awesome read. It’s cool to know what’s sort-of going on in your head. I love the idea behind creating a video of every track and that would be worth watching because I always love watching the artists side of the story compared to the listeners interpretation. Obviously, can’t wait for more updates!
